Many dry-fire and immediate-action drills require the slide to cycle without locking back on an empty magazine. Traditionally, this meant using dummy rounds, creating extra steps, constant pickup of ejected dummies, and the ever-present risk of a live round being accidentally introduced into the training environment.

The DSI (DRY-FIRE SAFETY INSERT) eliminates those issues entirely.

When inserted into an empty magazine, the DSI holds the follower down so it cannot engage the slide stop. Its low-profile design allows the slide to cycle freely without stripping the device from the magazine. This enables safe practice of drills such as tap-rack-fire, reloads, and malfunction clearance, without dummy rounds and without the risk of live ammunition.

The DSI installs easily, removes quickly, and allows uninterrupted, realistic dry-fire training with the magazine in place.
